'Married At First Sight': Brandon says Taylor wants to be on 'Temptation Island', fans say she's in it for fame
Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid's relationship has hit a roadblock. The couple cannot seem to have a simple conversation without going at each other.
In this week's episode of 'Married At First Sight', they make an effort to have an honest chat about their feelings and how they would like to be appreciated in a relationship. It started off well with Brandon saying that he would love to have Taylor be open and communicate her concerns. She has shut herself out ever since the two returned from their honeymoon in Panama.
For Taylor, being able to talk and come to a common ground are priorities. But Brandon's attitude and the way he approaches every situation probably put her off. Maybe, he needs to work on his tone and ensure that his words aren't as harsh.
Brandon is a private person and had shown signs of detachment earlier on. He has walked out on Taylor on different occasions without explaining his stance. This attitude has been bothering. However, she takes the initiative and cooks dinner for him and while it looks like the start of something fresh, the couple starts bickering once again. They end up eating in different rooms. Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
The situation gets out of hand when Brandon stumbles upon Taylor's Instagram video in which she clearly states that she is single and shares qualifications of the man she would like in her life. She wants a straight man with over 6 ft 3" height. This was too much to take for Brandon. He clears out his space in their apartment and bolts. The morning after, Taylor is once again left in the dark wondering why Brandon isn't around, only to find the spare keys on the table.
She finally hears from one of the experts that Brandon was upset about her social media video. He thought it was disrespectful. Taylor explained her side of the story saying that it was done in zest and not directed at Brandon or any other man.
Meanwhile, Brandon reveals that Taylor wanted to go to 'Temptation Island' but couldn't because she was traveling, which led to the conclusion that maybe she isn't here for a full-fledged marriage and has some ulterior motive. Taylor is in flux, not knowing how to get through to Brandon and tell him that there is no hidden agenda.
Fans are sorry for Brandon this time and believe that maybe Taylor is in it for "clout".
"Wow. She wanted be on Temptation Island? Damn, spazzy. I kinda feel sorry for you. Sounds like she did this for clout. #MarriedAtFirstSight," a viewer shared. Another wrote: "Taylor is a reality TV wh***. Temptation Island? Really?! I have heard and seen enough. Going on TV to get exposure for yourself. Pathetic Taylor. "What?!?! Taylor was gonna be on Temptation Island?!?! Oh Lawd she is crazy and just trying to be famous by any means. #MarriedAtFirstSight," a fan wrote. "DANG.
