Karen and Miles started on shaky grounds. Even though he has been affectionate and open about his feelings for her, she was and continues to be distant. In this week's episode of 'Married at First Sight', the couples meet with their friends in settings where the partner is not around so that they can share with them what their experience has been being married to a stranger.

Both had their set of complaints and issues they have been trying to tackle since day one. Miles told his friend that Karen was physically removed from him and their marriage while highlighting one of the incidents where Karen chose to sit on the sides of a single chair than sit next to Miles on the bigger couch. He was surprised. But he did mention how much of a good cook she was and that she makes the best meals he has ever had.

Karen and her friends, however, were more fixated about how Miles is not assertive enough and that she needs more of an alpha male who would stand up, be a lead figure and put her in her place sometimes.

Meanwhile, fans thought that it was a weird criteria. Some even pointed out that wanting an alpha male is a whole lot of 'bulls**t'. "It’s confirm. Karen needs abuse to be in love," a fan commented, while another shared: "Here goes this alpha male BS again. Karen wants to be a side chick again."

"Karen and Miles were doomed from the start. Karen knew she didn't like Miles before she even got to know him...and that's been her issue ever since. Not to mention he is not the aggressive dude she want to tell her off," a user tweeted. "I told y'all Karen wants someone to treat her like s**t and black her eye #MarriedAtFirstSight," another pointed out.

"Karen has one of the biggest cases of internal misogynism that I have witnessed in a while. You need a man to keep you in your place?! For real sis?! Girl, this place doesn’t even exist. You been lied to," a viewer expressed.
