'Married At First Sight' Reunion: Fans predict Derek and Taylor went on a date after Katie cheated on him
The 'Married At First Sight' reunion sneak-peek, the couples are shown to be addressing a whole lot — from cheating, people from the show going on a date, to toxic accusations and such. Clearly, the special episode is going to get explosive.
Derek Sherman shared how Katie Conrad once told her she cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend, while Mindy Shiben said former Zach Justice was in it for "publicity," even after him denying it completely in the finale episode. However, all of this has had the fans predicting the two people who could have gone on a date and the popular opinion is Derek and Taylor Dunklin.
It isn't hard to imagine these two going on a date because clearly they had a connection. Previously, when the couples were whisked away for a short vacation before the decision day, Derek and Taylor were being extremely friendly with each other with the latter even praising him for being a good husband to Katie. But Katie didn't take any of it lightly. She thought Derek isn't the goofball he pretends to be when he's around her and that he is fairly decent in his interactions with girls.
Even though the incident led to both of them having doubts about their marriage, the couple gave it another shot. But did the charm and love last for them?
The reunion special was taped five months after the decision day took place. This means a lot had happened in that time. Derek informed how Katie had cheated on him despite her denying it. The chances are high because even minutes before she was to walk down the aisle, Katie thought of her ex-boyfriend and whether or not she was making the best decision by moving away from him and marrying a complete stranger.
However, these claims can only be confirmed once the reunion airs on April 22 on Lifetime. Meanwhile, fans have paired Derek and Taylor as the two mystery individuals who seemed to have gone on a date.
