'Married at First Sight': Derek jumps into the shower with Katie annoying her but she admits 'that's marriage'
Katie Conrad and Derek Sherman of 'Married At First Sight' make the perfect couple. Derek has a huge crush on her and never misses an opportunity to admit it. In the previous episode, when all the couples were at dinner, they shared that they had taken the next step in their relationship and are happy about it.
Everyone giggled as the couple blushed while hinting that they've had sex. Derek even arranged for a special birthday surprise for Katie complete with rose petals, cake and champagne.
However, in today's episode, the chemistry may not have been off but both are now looking at spending a lot of time together doing stuff all by themselves at home.
While packing up to leave their hotel room, they realized how they hated folding clothes. Katie, however, was quick to come up with a solution. She said, at home, they could get lots of hangers for their clothes and that way, they'd never have to fold.
Katie and Derek are a sorted couple. They communicate and never hide their feelings. During their dinner date, both seemed anxious and didn't know what to expect from the days to come.
It would be a new experience for both of them as they were sharing private space with each other and working around the house. It is going to be drastically different from what happened between the two in Panama — they had everything cut out for them.
Derek said he was more of a 10 alarm person (which means he would wake up only after the alarm went off 10 times, with snooze breaks in between) whereas Katie was a 1 alarm person.
Katie laughed and promised not to bite his head off. However, that's the least of her worries right now given how much she is protective about her space.
The previous night, Katie went to get a shower and Derek jumped into the shower with her, which annoyed her. But she was quick to realize that this was what marriage was all about.
