'Married At First Sight': Hayley Vernon's wardrobe malfunction triggers explosive drama and cheating scandal
'Married At First Sight' (Australia) star Hayley Vernon has been in the news for controversial reasons and the latest one being a wardrobe malfunction that was aired in this week's episode, which was nothing short of explosive. Fans online have reacted to her not zipping up properly for the dinner party.
Hayley had a blue jumpsuit on with strappy sleeves but the zip was undone. While some speculated it could be because the crew had to attach a microphone to her back or perhaps her shoulders were broad to keep the zip up.
"Her shoulders are too broad for the outfit. That's why she couldn't do it up. I mean, you can tell that it wouldn't be able to be done up," a fan said.
And that's not all that happened this week. Her many kisses with millionaire Michael Goonan was exposed at the party. The man's wife, Stacey Hampton, was away in Adelaide with his kid while Hayley's husband, David Connan, was around in the hallway when the two kissed. Interestingly, she admitted to it the episode and was extremely remorseful of it. But, Stacey sided with Michael, who completely denied all allegations slapped at him, saying he was too drunk to remember what had happened.
However, Hayley prides herself for being honest about what happened between them and is not afraid to talk about it to the world. "Showing your truth and being hated for it is better than wearing a mask and being liked for it.. I’ll walk alone everyday of the year rather than conform to the blinded masses, she wrote on Instagram.
It's anybody's guess that Hayley and David's marriage fell apart this week on the show, but what followed is straight-out a nightmare. In his effort to seek revenge, David scrubbed feces off a shitpot using Hayley's toothbrush, which she used for the next four days.
In a recently-concluded Kyle and Jackie O interview, she revealed how that incident has put a stop to her dating life as she got a new set of teeth worth $30,000. Hayley and David have officially split but the breakup is yet to be aired on the show.
During the radio show, Hayley also confirmed that she has started seeing someone new.
