'Married At First Sight: Couples' Cam' returned with a rather emotionally overwhelming episode, especially for Jamie Otis, who is heavily pregnant and now has to get herself tested for Covid-19 just to be sure that her baby is safe from it. It has been rough for her.

Childbirth during the pandemic has proven to be a challenge and Jamie's story is no different. But she and husband Doug Hehner cannot risk lives by delivering at a hospital during these times. Jamie is a labor nurse and understands the risks of childbirth at home fully well and yet, she is ready to take them as long as their baby is safe from the dangers of contracting the infection. Doug has been apprehensive about the idea the whole time until he met with the midwife and had a chat with her.

"I have a really, really good feeling and am completely and wholeheartedly confident in having a home birth. I just feel like that's the right decision. I feel it in my gut, I really do," the father-to-be shared.

With that out of the way, Jamie was now ready to welcome their baby but the emotions are putting her on the edge. In this week's episode, as she drove to the test center, she realized how childbirth is going to be a task.

A health professional conducted a nasal swab, leaving Jamie in tears. She wondered what childbirth would do to her when a simple test got her emotionally charged. It has been a trying time for all the couples on the show, especially for Jamie because she is nearing her due date. Next week, we see Jamie groaning in pain as she lay next to her waterbirth tub.

In a chat with The Sun, Jamie opened up on how "rough" and "painful" her pregnancy was and the pandemic was to blame. "With Gracie, I didn’t have a lot of aches and pains, but I was so uncomfortable with Hendrix," the website quoted the reality TV star as saying. Henley Grace is the couple's two-year-old daughter.
