Mark Wahlberg shares hot topless photo after 6 months of 'clean eating', says getting into shape was 'life-changing'
Mark Wahlberg is known for delivering meaty movie roles, but soon enough he might become famous for his fitness routine and his rock-hard abs.
The 48-year-old actor flaunted his super jacked body in a new Instagram post on December 19, as he revealed how he got into shape for his upcoming movie 'Infinite'.
"Six months of performance-inspired nutrition Aquahydrate And F45 training!! Clean eating. Inspired to be better team training/life changing," he captioned the picture.
F45 Training, which has 267 studios in the US and 1,045 worldwide. “We focus on functional-based moments, like hip hinges, squats, overhead movements, things that cater to people in their everyday lives,” says Cory George, athletics director for F45 Training, Men's Journal reported. "We pride ourselves on never doing the same workout twice."
Last year, Wahlberg shared his intense workout routine with fans, stating that his day started at 2.30 am. He had his pre-workout breakfast at 3.15 am, which typically consisted of eggs, avocado, steel oats and fruit before he hit the gym. He worked out from 3.40 am until 5.15 am. Before 10 am, the 48-year-old entered the cryo chamber and enjoyed a post-workout snack and a dip.
Since he has typically chosen to play physically demanding roles that require extreme endurance from the start of his career, bulking up has been Mark's modus operandi. He underwent a strenuous workout routine before taking on his role in 2018's 'Mile 22', where he starred as a CIA operative leading a paramilitary team.
But perhaps one of his biggest transformations came in 2013's 'Pain and Gain', where he played a Miami bodybuilder. For the movie, he went from 165 to 221 pounds.
Wahlberg is currently filming the action thriller 'Infinite', which is slated to release next year. It is about a man suffering from schizophrenia who is plagued by memories from past lives. He will star alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor in the movie.
