'You're a liar!' Marjorie Taylor Greene's heated exchange with Piers Morgan over 'rigged' 2020 election draws trolls

This comes after it was reported that electronic voting machines used by the State of Georgia have substantial flaws

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A judge recently issued a decision concurring that there are valid reasons to believe the electronic voting machines used by the State of Georgia have substantial flaws, according to Trending Politics.

This report was then shared by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who suggested Georgia "must get rid of" the machines ahead of the 2024 elections.

In addition, she also tagged “election denier” Piers Morgan, and he was swift with his response.

As Greene and Morgan both indulged in a little back and forth, the internet watched and resorted to ridicule when it came to the Congresswoman.

Marjorie Taylor Greene goes back and forth with Morgan Piers over voting machines

On Thursday, November 16, as the news about the electronic voting machines in Georgia broke out, Marjorie Taylor Greene took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote, “Wow! Judge Amy Totenberg declared the electronic voting machines used by the State of Georgia have substantial flaws.”

Greene added, “Georgia must get rid of our machines and go to paper ballots before the 2024 election!”

Moments after this, she tagged Piers Morgan, and wrote, “I told 2020 Election Denier @piersmorgan that the 2020 election was rigged.”

She added, “Piers Morgan: ‘It's not being proven in the courts!’ Here’s your proof Piers.” 

In response to Greene, Morgan asked her to “get real” as he wrote on X, “Hi Marjorie, you seem a little confused. I’m the election confirmer, you’re the denier.”

“And no court, even those stacked with Republican judges, has ruled the 2020 election was rigged, stolen, or anything other than legally conducted. So I suggest you get real and move on,” added Morgan.

Greene did not hold back as she shared a clip of her interview with Morgan and wrote, “Hi Piers…your 9th booster shot is kicking in. This Georgia Judge wasn’t appointed by a Republican—She was appointed by Obama. The 2020 election was RIGGED.”

In the clip, Greene told Morgan, “Piers you are not even a voter in our country,” as she doubled down on her stance about the election being “stolen” in 2020.

As Marjorie Taylor Greene continued her brief spar with Piers Morgan on X and shared a video, standing strong on her stance about the 2020 election, the internet was quick to respond.

One user asked, “Is picking fights the only thing you know how to do?” and another wrote, “Grow up. You're simply embarrassed as you should be! You are trash and he called you on it!  You made this bed.”

“You're a liar and a traitor,” wrote one user, and another said, “As a conservative, I want this chick out of Congress. I want them all out.”

Greene continued to face backlash on X as one person wrote, “Loser,” and another said, “One thing…just tell us one thing you’ve done for the American people since being elected.”
