Marjorie Taylor Green traveled from Wisconsin to Georgia to show her continued support for Donald Trump

FULTON, GEORGIA: US representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, or as she is infamously known, MTG has traveled from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Fulton, Georgia, to show her continued support for former president Donald Trump.

In Wisconsin, MTG was present as Trump’s official surrogate, and in Georgia, to show her support for Trump before his arrest.

According to CNBC, Trump was booked at Fulton County Jail as of August 24 on Thursday.

MTG was also present outside the Fulton County Jail and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express her support for Trump, for which she was relentlessly mocked by the internet.

MTG would vote for Donald Trump from jail if she had to

MTG posted a video of her arrival at Fulton County Jail in a red top and black trousers as she waved at Donald Trump’s supporters who were also present.

Several people chanted “MTG” as she arrived.

In her tweet to show her support, MTG wrote, “Tonight, I joined hundreds of Patriots at the Fulton County Jail to support President Trump during his persecution by Communist Atlanta DA Fani Willis. I will never stop supporting President Trump and I will vote for him from jail if I have to!”

In addition, MTG also appeared in a brief interview with RSBN (Right Side Broadcasting Network) where when asked about Trump.

She said, “I’ve spoken to him many times this week, he’s always in good spirits and I have to tell you, it’s a lot of fun to talk to him.” MTG also added, “He is always thinking of other people first.”

MTG faces backlash for supporting Donald Trump

One user mocked MTG and called her a "groupie" as they wrote, "Like a groupie at a rock concert. Not a congresswoman . Embarrassing."

Another person tweeted, "Is your idea of "supporting him" just waving at the crowd and doing an interview?"

People also called out MTG for mentioning 'hundreds' of people in her tweet as one person wrote, "Hundreds? Looked like a few dozen..." and another questioned, "hundreds?"

The incessant mocking of MTG continued as one person wrote, "You are a mess," and another tweeted, "Absolutely ridiculous."
