Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed as she claims to write 'censure resolution' against Rashida Tlaib following Capitol rally
WASHINGTON, DC: On the afternoon of October 18, Palestinian-American Rep Rashida Tlaib addressed groups that hosted a rally outside of the Capitol, and “called for an end to the violence,” as reported by Rolling Stone.
Hundreds of protestors also staged a sit-in inside the rotunda of the Cannon House office building, and Rolling Stone claimed, “Republicans in Congress jumped at the opportunity to claim that the protest was equivalent to the Jan 6 attack on the Capitol.”
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene labeled this an “insurrection” and has now taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to let people know she is “writing a censure resolution for Rashida Tlaib.”

According to the United States Senate, “Among the ways in which the Senate has disciplined its members is censure, sometimes referred to as condemnation or denouncement. Censure is a formal statement of disapproval in the form of a resolution that is adopted by majority vote.”
As Greene makes claims against Rashida Tlaib and prepares to write a “censure resolution,” the internet is far from impressed.
