Marjorie Taylor Greene mocked after claiming she was 'censored' by Fox News following GOP debate
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN: Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of Donald Trump’s most staunch supporters, dished out details about Fox News after the GOP debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After the debate, MTG took to X, where she posted an interview with Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN), and opened up about how despite being a surrogate of a Republican candidate, in this case, former President Trump, she wasn’t allowed inside the Fox News media spin room.
Earlier, Fox News informed Trump’s campaign that his surrogates will not be allowed access to the “spin room” following the first Republican debate, New York Post reported.
MTG and other Trump surrogates blocked
However, as MTG was interviewed, she quickly steered the topic to Fox News, “I’m going to tell you a story now, we’re going to make a little news for everyone watching at home. You’re going to want to ahead and share this story.”

MTG continued, “I just came from backstage. Now this is a Fox News hosted debate, and they have something called the spin room, which is common at presidential debates. This is where after the debate people are supposed to be able to go in, people that are surrogates for the candidates. I’m a surrogate for President Trump.”
“I’m also a member of Congress,” she added. She looked into the camera and said, “I just want everyone listening to know they just blocked us out. They would not allow myself, Matt Gates or any other Trump surrogates to go into the spin room.” MTG pointed out this happened despite them having the credentials and necessary access to the spin room.
MTG has labeled this “censorship” from Fox News. MTG wrote on X, “CENSORED: I’m an official surrogate for President Trump, but I was blocked from entering the Fox News media spin room.”
Internet supports Fox News' decision to keep MTG out
In response to MTG’s frustration against Fox News and their “censorship,” the internet didn’t seem to be on her side. One person pointed out, “Well, your boy skipped the debate. What business did you then have there?” and another said, “He was a no-show. He didn’t need his emotional support politician.”

He didn’t need his emotional support politician.
People have mocked both Donald Trump and MTG. “Trump and Greene think the rules don’t apply to them. It’s part of their delusional way of life,” wrote one, while another said, “It's bad when FOX doesn't want your garbage.”

“You don’t send the candidate you don’t get to surrogate. Womp Womp,” wrote one user. The incessant mocking of MTG has continued on X after being blocked as one person said, “Good glad u were blocked.”
