Marjorie Taylor Greene labeled 'gullible goon' as she shares photo of Donald Trump posing with a gun

ROME, GEORGIA: Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a picture of Donald Trump "doing a little shopping" in South Carolina, and the former president was seen holding a gun in his hand while at the Palmetto State Armory.
After the news broke out, the Daily Beast described the incident as a "PR stunt gone terribly wrong."
Forbes reported that Trump's campaign spokesperson, Steven Cheung, later clarified to CNN that he never actually went through with the purchase.
Notably, federal law prohibits anyone under indictment from attempting to buy a firearm, and the ex-POTUS currently faces 91 felony charges.
However, this did not stop Greene from sharing a snap of Trump at the gun store and claiming that he bought the firearm, leading to the Georgia representative facing severe backlash from the Internet.

Marjorie Taylor Greene took to X (formerly Twitter) to share an image of Donald Trump posing with a gun and wrote, "President Trump doing a little shopping in South Carolina! He will protect our great Second Amendment!!"
The Second Amendment of the US Constitution states, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed," as per Congress.gov.
Notably, Trump has always campaigned about protecting the Second Amendment rights of American citizens.

In response to Marjorie Taylor Greene sharing a picture of Donald Trump holding a gun on X (formerly Twitter), one person wrote, "let's un-Fox this post. 1. Trump *pretended* to buy a gun 2. because Trump can't really buy a gun."
They continued, "3. because Trump buying a gun would be illegal 4. because Trump has been indicted 4 times on 91 counts 5. this is all just theater 6. and Marjorie Three Toes is a gullible goon."
"Yup, you people are more interested in protecting the Second Amendment, than protecting children at school. I could never wrap my mind around that," stated a user, with another adding, "Armed Felon!"
One noted, "He just loves to commit felonies. Purchasing a gun while under federal indictment isn't allowed," and another said, "Please tell me he bought the gun. He’s under federal indictment."
"You’re a joke. He’s horrible for gun owners and he can’t even legally buy that firearm," expressed a user.
