Marjorie Taylor Greene labeled 'delusional' after call with Donald Trump during Town Hall in Georgia

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene declared on social media that Northwest Georgia's love for Donald Trump will cause the state to go red

PLAINVILLE, GEORGIA: On September 22,  Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene held the America First Emergency Townhall in Plainville, Georgia.

During this Town Hall, Greene spoke about several issues, ranging from Ukraine to Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry. However, one particular moment stood out on this day.

During the Town Hall, Greene received a call from former President Donald Trump, who has received unconditional support from Greene for years now.

On the call, Trump applauded Greene and praised her, while also showing his appreciation for Georgia. The state had voted blue in the 2020 elections, despite being a red state since 2000.

Donald Trump says ‘we’re going to win’

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene shared a brief clip from the America First Emergency Townhall in Plainville, Georgia. The focus of this clip was the phone call from Donald Trump.

Greene wrote, “Thank you for calling into my America First Emergency Town Hall, President @realDonaldTrump! Northwest Georgia loves you and will be the reason Georgia goes red in 2024!! 🇺🇸 #MAGA #Trump2024”

In the clip, Greene had a huge smile on her face as she said, “I think we have someone that has called in.” Greene held the microphone to the speaker of her phone and told the audience, “It’s President Trump.”

The people at the Town Hall cheered the former President on. Trump said, “You know loving your country so much causes you little problems because people go after you, that’s what’s happening with our country, and it’s very sad indeed.”

Trump then spoke about Greene, “I just wanted to pay my respect to Marjorie, she’s an incredible woman, an incredible person, and I want to say hello to everyone else.”

The former President also stated, “We’re going to win, and we’re going to make America great again.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene faces backlash on X

The internet did not seem too impressed with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s phone call with Donald Trump. One person wrote, “So disgusting! You are a disgrace.”

Some have also claimed that “Georgia hates Trump” as one user on X wrote, “Georgia hates Trump. Dems love him for gifting them the Senate in 2020. Bring back the loser but don't expect him to ever win again.” Another wrote, “If Georgia goes red in 2024 it will be of embarrassment.😳”

Some people booed Greene, “Booooo,” while some others = labeled her “pathetic” following this clip on X.

Greene was also called “Delusional,” while others focused on Georgia as one user wrote, “It will NOT go RED even if you want it too.”
