The United States representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has been called a 'Sheanderthal' by internet users after slamming mayor Pete Buttigieg whom she called a 'pothole.'

Earlier this week, the GOP-controlled House in a bid to target the Biden administration, moved to cut Pete Buttigieg's salary, who is a United States Secretary of Transportation.

Republican Greene who moved the bill against Buttigieg accuses him of spending taxpayers' money on private jet trips.

Is the Senate going to cut Pete Buttigieg's salary? 

Greene appeared on a Fox News interview on 'The Bottom Line' when asked by the anchors if the Senate was going to join and have some common sense to cut Mayor Pete's salary to cut his salary to one dollar.

Republican Greene said they "absolutely should do it." She went on to say, "Mayor Pothole Petes is a name for him which perfectly first him."

Adding, "[he] has abused Tax Payers dollars and flown all over the country on Carbon emitting jet fuelled airplanes and private jets."

She accused Pete of flying to Canada "to receive an award based on his sexuality which I found outrageous." She said this was paid with the American Taxpayers' money. 

Marjorie Taylor Greene said Pete Buttigieg is a 'scammer, liar'

She went on to lash out at Buttigieg accusing him of being a scammer who needed to be fired.  

"This guy is a scammer, he is a liar and he is not qualified to be the secretary of the state of transportation." 

She said, "He absolutely needs to be fired," because coming from a private business she believes in the Hollman rule and "on firing people." 

She said, "I want to Impeach and we definitely want to fire 'Pothole' Petes," she repeated. Greene also shared the clip of her interview on X.

Marjorie Taylor Greene called a 'Sheanderthal'

Greene was happy when the amendment was passed. However, the bill needs to be approved by the full House and is unlikely to be approved by the Senate according to The Hill. 

She posted on X, “Pete Buttigieg doesn’t do his job. It’s all about fake photo ops and a taxpayer-funded private jet trip to accept LGBTQ awards for him.

“I’m happy my amendment passed, but he doesn’t deserve a single penny,” she said.

Following her post, users on X called her 'Sheanderthal' with zero self-awareness. "Sheanderthal has some thoughts. Self-awareness = 0," a user commented on her post where she called Pete Buttigieg a 'Pothole Pete.'

One more user targeted Marjorie Taylor Greene saying, "Says the lady that flies everywhere Trump goes when he has rallies."

A third X user wrote, "You need to be fired... He's 100 times the human you are." 

Another lashed out saying, "Why should we care what a woman who needed a presidential pardon after the January 6th insurrection that later said would have been successful had you been in charge says? You’re the dirt Pete Buttigieg walks on."
