Marjorie Taylor Greene called America's first family 'Biden Crime Family' in an explosive tweet

ROME, GEORGIA: US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene called for an impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said that an impeachment inquiry against POTUS is a "natural step forward," as reported by NBC News. 

MTG shared a video from August 24, where she was interviewed by RSBN (Right Side Broadcasting Network) during her visit to Fulton County Jail, Georgia, when former President Donald Trump was arrested.

This interview took place before McCarthy’s statement on an impeachment inquiry into Biden.

MTG referred to the first family as a "Biden crime family" but was immediately trolled by X (formerly Twitter) users.

MTG wrote in a tweet, “The Communist Democrats are attempting to throw Joe Biden’s top political opponent in jail while the Biden Crime Family has gotten rich selling out the American people for decades. Republicans can’t move forward in Washington without passing an impeachment inquiry.”

In addition, she also shared a brief clip from her interview with RSBN outside Fulton County Jail.

In this clip, MTG says, “Well you know I introduced articles of impeachment on Joe Biden’s first day in office, so it’s not me, I’m not the hold-up. It takes 218 Republicans in Congress to pass any bill.”

She also added, “Unfortunately, we don’t have enough strong Republicans.”

“No president, no politician in Washington should be able to enrich themselves on the American taxpayer's backs, abusing their power, making policy decisions and getting paid for it, and that’s what the Biden family did,” said MTG.

In retaliation, people on the internet have come to Biden’s defense as they mocked MTG.

People have accused MTG of “lying” as one person wrote, “I keep praying one day you will be removed from Congress. I’m so sick and tired of your lying and fear-mongering you do every damn day.”

“Impeachment is not going to happen and you know it. You are sincerely hoping for an actual Civil War because, at this point, that's all you have. Enjoy prison, Marge,” wrote one user.

One user simply said, “Bla, bla, bla, bla, bla!” in response to MTG's tweet

Some users also called out MTG for defending Donald Trump as one person wrote, “Donald Trump committed all of his crimes by himself, Marjorie. Nobody is above the law, not Donald Trump, or you.”

Some users also slammed MTG for using the word “communist” in her tweet as one person wrote, “Still an American Congressman doesn’t know what communism means. Also is seemingly unaware that he is a fascist by definition. It’s clearly time to issue indictments for maga Congress coup members!”

One user wrote, “Define communist without googling it.”
