Taylor Swift released her latest album 'Evermore' on Thursday – her second album release in 2020 following the Grammy-nominated 'Folklore' from earlier this year in July. The 17-track surprise album is the 'sister album' to 'Folklore' and has left her fans speechless. Each song in the playlist is a different kind of heart-touching but there is one particular song that has everyone in tears. 'Marjorie', the thirteenth song on the album has left Taylor Swift's in a puddle of their own tears.

"I have never cried listening to music in my life. And I can't believe I'm saying this but... I cried the WHOLE TIME listening to marjorie. Never had such a feeling before. Only possible because of you!" a fan tweeted out to Swift. "Marjorie speaks to my soul," added another.

The mesmerizing song is not just a hot favorite among only fans. It is a song that Swift herself holds close to her heart. In a YouTube chat with her fans, she wrote, "I have about 50 fav lyrics but right now… it’s 'never be so kind you forget to be clever. Never be so clever you forget to be kind'". The lyrics are the opening words to the beautiful song that has everyone hooked.

But also curious. "Marjorie...  (who is she? Am I missing something?) This lyric video is so pretty," a fan asked.

Indeed, who is Marjorie? Perhaps a muse or inspiration? Is she a real person? Or a dream?

Actually, she is all of the above. In the video, there are several black and white images of a woman who looks pretty similar to Swift. The singer had everyone guessing till, in an Instagram post that detailed some of the songs of her album, Swift confirmed, "One [song stars] my grandmother, Marjorie, who still visits me sometimes…if only in my dreams."

Taylor Swift has in fact shared an image of her grandmother with her fans. Her first Instagram post on October 26, 2011, had the following caption, "Found this picture of my grandmother. So lovely."

The song has one and all in tears as fans took to Twitter to collectively swoon over the song. "“And if I didn't know better I'd think you were singing to me now If I didn't know better I'd think you were still around I know better But I still feel you all around” #marjorie #evermorealbum @taylorswift13," a fan penned the lyrics to the song.

The touching song has fans thanking the singer. "i love you with all my heart, i really loved the whole album and the song that touched me the most was Marjorie, it reminded me of my grandmother (i couldn't stop crying) thank you for making your stories be reflected in mine, i love you @taylorswift13
