Jennifer Hudson or Jack Harlow: Who is Mariah Carey's special guest in Christmas collab with Ariana Grande?

R&B superstar Mariah Carey is all set to enthrall her fans and save Christmas with her AppleTV+ production aptly titled ‘Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special’ which is also coinciding with the 26th anniversary of her iconic carol and one of the biggest hits of her career ‘All I Want for Christmas is You.’ The much-awaited project will feature a host of surprise guest appearances to celebrate the spirit of Christmas.

In order to tease her fans about the artistes we can expect in the show, the multiple award-winning singer took to her official Twitter account and posted a photo from the production set where we could see three director chairs placed next to each other printed with the initials “AG,” “MC,” and “JH.”  She simply captioned the pic with an emoticon of a Christmas tree referencing to her favorite holiday of the year.

Fans could easily guess the initials of “AG” and “MC” which of course, stands for Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey herself. However, the Internet got divided when it came to the initials “JH” where several speculated it was the renowned singer Jennifer Hudson, while some believed it could be the new popular artist of 2020 Jack Harlow, who most recently gave his biggest hit in the form of ‘What's Poppin.’

A lot of people rushed to Twitter and tried to solve the mystery behind the initials. One user said, “It's actually jack Harlow not Jennifer Hudson” One user, who might be a Jennifer Hudson fan, said, “I like Jack Harlow but this BETTER be Jennifer Hudson so help me god” Another user added, “Hell yeah, this A.G. Cook, Mariah and Jack Harlow collab is gonna be great”

While sharing a funny pic, one user tweeted, “Im Team Jennifer Hudson, fk a Jack Harlow!” One Twitterati shared a pic of the kids animated superheroes Powerpuff Girls and said, “Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, and Jennifer Hudson coming to save 2020 with a Christmas song like” One user added, “Jennifer Hudson Ariana Grande You and a Christmas tree? OMG OMG”

Whoever, “JH” might be but we are sure of one thing, the collaboration is surely going down in history. The news of ‘Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special’ was confirmed back in August ahead of the release of her New York Times bestselling memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey.

The AppleTV+ premiere will entertain the fans with music, dancing, animation as well as a line-up of surprise guest appearances. According to the official details from Apple as reported by the Forbes, the event will be directed by BAFTA Award winner Hamish Hamilton and Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner Roman Coppola.
