12-year-old boy arrested for MURDER, after care worker is hit and killed with her own car
YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND: A 12-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of an elderly woman, who was hit and killed by her own car, South Yorkshire Police said. Marcia Grant, 60, who is understood to have been a foster carer, was pronounced dead at the scene on Wednesday, April 5, at about 7.10 pm when emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a car and a woman in the Greenhill area of Sheffield.
The news of Grant’s death has devastated her family, who described her as a "warm, loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend," adding that she was 'a pillar of her community." "Her loss has already sent shockwaves through all who knew her or were lucky enough to be included in her orbit. We ask for privacy at this time while further investigations are underway and the family tries to come to terms with this enormous loss," the family said in a statement, according to Daily Mail.
