'Manifest': Top 4 times we almost gave up on Michaela and Jared
NBC's Jeff Rake-directed show, 'Manifest', has been a complete package with its surreal mystery, family drama, and its romantic relations, especially when it comes to Jared and Michaela. Starring Josh Dallas (as Ben Stone), Athena Karkanis (as Grace), Melissa Roxburgh (as Michaela Stone), J.R.Ramirez (as Jared) and Parveen Kaur (as Saanvi Bahl), the show follows the sudden re-appearance of Montego Air Flight 828, which went missing for almost five and a half years. What makes it more mysterious is that the passengers don't appear to have been affected by age or time at all and are now drawn by some strange 'callings' leading them to an unknown destination.
Among all the characters, it is Michaela who suffering the most since she returned to a world where her mother is already dead and her to-be fiance, Jared, is married to her best friend. Although over the course of the series it seemed that neither Jared nor Michaela were ready to give up on their feelings for each other, there were times when it almost felt that we are losing out on all chances of seeing the couple together.
