Man kills wife, fakes messages from her phone for a year to convince family she was alive, and then murders them too

Steven Svensen is facing multiple charges of murder in Ohio and Florida over the killing of his wife, her parents, and her brother

A man who murdered his wife managed to convince her family she was still alive for an entire year by faking messages from her phone and telling them she was busy or unavailable for a call. When they began suspecting him, he killed the family too.

According to the Daily Mail, 25-year-old Steven Svensen has been arrested in connection to the murders of 21-year-old wife, Jamie Ivancic, as well as those of her father, 71-year-old Richard Ivancic, mother, 59-year-old Laura Ivancic, and brother, 25-year-old Nicholas Ivancic in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
