Man kidnaps woman and rapes her in front of her 5-year-old son to take revenge on his 'cheating wife'
A 41-year-old man was arrested after being accused of abducting a young mother and raping her in front of her five-year-old son. He reportedly committed the heinous crime to take revenge on his "cheating wife."
Everett Simpson allegedly kidnapped the 25-year-old woman, who has not been identified yet, and her son after randomly targeting them at a shopping mall in New Hampshire in January. He then allegedly forced her to drive to White River Junction, Vermont, where he raped the woman in front of her son and then fled the scene.
The woman then alerted police officials saying that Simpson told her he had found out that his wife was cheating on him and that he wanted to hurt her, according to The Sun. The 41-year-old also allegedly told the woman that he knew where she lived and that he would kill her if she tried to contact the police, according to court documents.
Reports state that the accused's wife, identified as Sherise, had left him in September last year after nine years of marriage. She also took their two children along with her.
