Arizona man caught having sex with his pet cat in the shower, charged with bestiality
A man from Arizona has been arrested after he was found allegedly having sexual intercourse with his pet cat in the shower. Officers from the Mesa Police Department responded to a frantic call of a cat that was in distress at a home located close to Val Vista Drive and University Drive on March 20. A witness at the location told responding officers that 40-year-old Michael Navage, a homeless man, had taken his pet cat into the bathroom.
The person who made the call to emergency services said that they heard the cat screaming and could hear Navage shouting that "the cat was stuck on his penis". Daily Mail reported that according to police reports, the caller told authorities that they repeatedly heard the homeless man calling the distressed animal a "w***e".
Navage is also believed to have told his pet cat to stop "s******g". A responding officer who was at the scene found the father inside a bathroom in the home naked with the cat partially wrapped in a towel close to his genitals. The officer also found meth inside the bathroom.
The homeless man was indicated as being a dealer of methamphetamine who used the sales from his drug deals to be able to secure lodging and showers at multiple places. According to the police report, he is also said to have had fake money and forged IDs and checks in his possession.
The cat was rushed to a veterinarian in the area who determined that the animal had suffered some wounds on its backside. The abused animal was also found to have had previous rib fractures and pelvic injuries that had healed over time.
Navage reportedly told authorities that he did not have sex with his cat. He added that he had loved the animal since he got it as a kitten. The man repeated bragged to the officers that the "girth" of his penis was too big to fit inside the cat's anus, which meant that it was "impossible" for him to have actually had sex with the cat.
The man, who has listed himself as being a Drug Lord on his second Facebook profile, has now been charged with drug possession, bestiality, and animal cruelty. Navage is due to appear in court on March 28.
