Man arrested after he dressed up as a woman and sexually assaulted a teen while his friend watched
The teen managed to get important physical details of both men which led to the arrest of Javoris Phillips.
A man has been jailed after he was involved in an incident where he allegedly dressed as a woman and tried to seduce a 14-year-old boy. He also sexually assaulted the teen when he tried to escape. 36-year-old Javoris Quentin Phillips has been formally charged with kidnapping and lewd and lascivious battery of a victim younger than 15. Another man who was with the captured suspect at the time of the assault managed to get away and is still on the run in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The teenager told the authorities that two men dressed up as women, with wigs, women's clothes, and make-up, propositioned him as he was walking to his friends house at 7 a.m. on August 6 of last year. He instantly realized he was in trouble after he heard their voices and tried to run away but unfortunately, the men were a lot faster.
The Sun Sentinel reported that the men had hit the teen on his head, tied up the poor boy's wrists together and then dragged him behind an abandoned building. The men then allegedly threatened to kill the teen if he screamed for help. One of the suspects even held a gun to the teen's head and told him to "shut up". The horrified boy told the authorities later that Phillips was the one who had performed oral sex on him while the man with the gun watched.
In spite of the warnings the men gave him, the boy started screaming for help and bravely tried to fight the two adults off. The men then ran from the scene in a gray car that the teen had seen the two of them in before. The authorities then heard from the boy that the one who had sexually assaulted him was wearing a long curly wig, a bra, and a black shirt. He also noticed that the man had just shaved because there were bumps on his skin. The teen told them that the other man was also wearing a curly wig, had a moustache, and a "little bit of a beard".
An anonymous tip was given to the teenager's uncle while the cops were still at the crime scene and told the police to look at a Facebook profile that is under the name of Aceiyana Phillips. The source also mentioned that he had also been propositioned by Phillips before and the story of the teen was shockingly similar. The police report said: "He stated that it is the male's M.O. to proposition young boys in the manner of that of the victim child."
Records have revealed that Aceiyana Phillips' real name is Javoris Phillips and he also had the car that matched the description the boy gave to the police which was a gray 2013 Hyundai.
A rape test kit that was used on the boy confirmed that the DNA found belonged to one Nathan Phillips which is one of the suspect's known aliases. He has also gone by the names Frederic, Cedrik, Hannah, and Aceiyana. The man was arrested on May 2 and is currently being held in prison without a bond.
Phillips has previously been convicted for prostitution, battery on a law enforcement officer, weapons charges, loitering and prowling, and car jacking.
