Man, 21, accidentally shoots himself in parking lot of Wisconsin mall, police say there's no danger
GRAND CHUTE, WISCONSIN: On Black Friday, officers were called to 4301 W Wisconsin Ave, the Fox River Mall parking lot after hearing about a gunshot that injured one man accidentally. In accordance with the Grand Chute Police Department, the incident occurred on November 25 shortly after 9 am.
According to officers, a preliminary investigation indicates that a 21-year-old Wausau man was unloading a handgun in the mall's parking lot when the gun accidentally fired. The man sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, Post Crescent reported

Authorities, however, believe that this is an isolated incident and that there was no danger to the public. Emergency personnel with the Grand Chute Police Department, along with fire fighters and paramedics from the Grand Chute Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance responded to the scene, as per the report.
No further information was available as the police didn't provide more details as yet. The police as per a few reports dispelled this as a shooting as the rumor had people terrified that something bad was happening.
