Mama June shows off 'bootimous' curves in red bathing suit after getting new teeth
It appears that quarantine time is doing wonders for reality television star Mama June, born June Edith Shannon. The star took to Instagram on Thursday, April 30, to reveal her relatively trimmer figure on social media.
The 40-year-old posted a picture of her self in a red one-piece swimming suit fresh off a dip in her swimming pool in Florida. Her swimsuit appearance was reminiscent of the popular 'Baywatch' series as she slicked her wet blonde hair back and donned a red one-piece swimsuit that read "Guard". June also captioned her picture with her very own hashtag “#Bootimous,” with a sunshine emoji to go along with it.
Reports state that 'The Mama June: From Not to Hot' star has been actively promoting her #Bootimous line of t-shirts and merchandise in an attempt to raise money for healthcare workers and those affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak. Over three million people across the world have been infected with the virus, while thousands have succumbed to Covid-19. Healthcare workers, across the world, have also complained about a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) as they treat coronavirus patients.
The 40-year-old, in her initial post, had captioned: "Ok y’all …Whose Proud and Bootimous? I know I am!" as she informed more than half a million followers on Instagram that she would be donating $1 from every shirt, sweatshirt and hoodie to the COVID-19 First Responders Relief Fund. In her post caption dated Sunday, April 26, she had written: "Thank you to everyone who purchased the #MamaJune #Bootimous limited edition shirts! Love you all…"
Mama June's latest Instagram post came just days after Honey Boo Boo‘s mom unveiled her sparkly white veneers! The reality star reportedly got the $10,000 dental upgrade in 2017, however, it was reported that she broke her teeth while eating "fat cakes" in a Season 4 episode of 'Mama June: Family Crisis'.
June, while speaking to British tabloid The Sun on April 22, had revealed that she had gotten her teeth fixed after the incident. She told the outlet: "I am happy to finally have gotten my tooth fixed. Now I have to watch the fat cakes so it doesn’t break again."
Shortly after the reality star posted her latest swimsuit post, her followers flocked to the picture and left positive comments on it. One fan wrote: "Okay mama June I see you getting back on the wagon." While another user beamed saying they were proud of her weight loss journey: "I’m so proud of you on this weight loss and you look absolutely amazing!”
Another user added, saying she looked healthier than before: "So glad you look healthier! Just your overall look on your face anymore is so nice and true!!!"
Another of June's fans made a comment on her radiating "inner peace" and attacked haters, saying: "You are better in that red bathing suit any given day than Jennifer! Happiness and inner peace radiates each time with you and jealousy and hatred show on them.”
