This week's 'Mama June: Family Crisis' was all things dramatic. From the mother-daughter reunion to wild confessions and later, a trip to the rehabilitation center — every aspect of the episode had the viewers glued.

June Edith 'Mama June' Shannon's efforts to reconcile with daughter Lauryn Michelle 'Pumpkin' Efird was almost successful when the former began to make light of the situation. They were at the rehabilitation center when Mama June couldn't hold herself from making jokes about being an in-patient, which put off Pumpkin, who was otherwise very keen on listening to her mother's side of the story. Before the reunion descended into the rabbit hole, Mama June and Pumpkin were having a chat about the situation at hand. Mama June said she had to sell off the house because she and her boyfriend, Geno Doak, were broke. "Because you know, at that point, we was doing quite a bit. I mean, it was a couple ounces a day. Our habit was $2,500 a day, if not more," she shared and added that Geno didn't want to give up the house but they were faced with trying times.

Later, she even agreed to take the drug test, which she failed. However, Pumpkin was ready to forgive her and saw her emotional outburst as a desperate cry of help and therefore, felt the need to get her professional help. But with June joking about going to a full-time rehab made her wonder if she could trust her own mother. Did Mama June have a hidden motive behind coming clean about substance abuse and financial issues? Was it just forgiveness she sought from her family or was it more than that?

Fans think Geno sent Mama June so that she could appear on the show and earn some money, which would be spent on drugs later. "#MamaJune I truly believe WE network paid mama June to show up. Think about it Geno wouldn't allow June to see her family. He is getting something out of it. Money," a viewer commented, while another shared: "She keeps saying our money. What has Geno done to earn any money. Also Geno wanted the house sold to pay for their drugs and Attorney. #MamaJune." One more tweeted, "It’s the truth. If one addict is getting high, you know damn well he ain’t going to help you get clean at all. You a lie to be saying that Geno didn’t want to sell the house. Only because y’all ain’t got no money left. #MamaJune."
