'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 4: Alana clears LA Fashion fest auditions, fans say she walked 'flawlessly'
Amidst all the drama and trouble Mama June Shannon has caused for her family on 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 4, Alana Thompson (Honey Boo Boo) decided to audition for LA Fashion Fest in hopes that she will be picked by a designer.
'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 4 returned on Friday night (April 3) for Episode 2. While Doe Doe and Big Mike continue their search for Mama in Alabama, Pumpkin and Alana are in LA for a few weeks to unwind. During their stay there, Gina (Mama June, Jennifer and Alana's manager) books Alana an audition for LA Fashion Fest.
Though Alana is no stranger when it comes to beauty pageants, the 14-year-old hasn't even done a fashion show before. Now auditioning for the LA Fashion Fest, Alana has one chance to impress the designers and she is very nervous. She feels sad claiming that Mama June is always with her when she goes out but now she misses her.
Somehow she musters up the courage and walks out in front of the judges and boy, does she bring the sass. They ask her to walk once again but this time with a little less hand movement. In her confessional, she revealed, “If fail this audition, I might not get another one."
While the judges keep giving her corrections on her walk Alana shared, “This is so embarrassing. There’s no way I got picked by any of these judges.” But luckily enough not just one but five designers were impressed by Alana and asked her to walk for them during the LA Fashion Fest.
Taking to Twitter post the episode, fans shared their love for the 14-year-old congratulating her on making it past the auditions. "#Alana don't lose your confidence boo! You got this! Rock that s*it! #wetv #MamaJune," a fan wrote.
"Alana we are so proud of you five designers that's great. Why ugly Jennifer do that when June called Pumpkin , that's why the car was pulling into the garage," a fan wrote. While another shared, "Alana walks very well in heels. She is very poised. The average American woman is a size 16, so I’m not surprised that 5 designers would choose her. Good job, Alana. #MamaJune #FromNotToHot."
