Nurse strips off PPE suit for steamy sex session with Covid-19 patient in hospital bathroom, gets suspended
A male nurse has been suspended after he admitted to stripping off his PPE suit in order to have sex with a patient infected with Covid-19 in the toilet of a hospital. The pair have both been kept in independent isolation after the steamy sex romp came to light at a coronavirus field hospital located in Indonesia. The shocking incident could see both the nurse as well as the patient prosecuted under Indonesia's anti-pornography laws.
The details and the incident became public knowledge after the patient decided to boast about his risky sex session on social media. He had uploaded a screenshot of a WhatsApp message exchanged between the pair which then went viral across social media. In the explicit messages, the two went into a detailed discussion about lubricants as well as the size of their private parts. After the post garnered a lot of attention, the patient was questioned along with the nurse with whom he had sex with. Both admitted that they had met to have sex in the bathroom at the Wisma Atlet quarantine facility located in Jakarta.
The facility is a former Olympic athlete's accommodation village which was converted into a Covid-19 hospital earlier this year. The patient who had later locked his social media accounts had also shared a picture of the nurse's PPE strewn across the floor as things got heated between the two.
The head of information at the Regional Military Command, Lieutenant Colonel Arh Herwin BS, revealed that both the men have been arrested. While speaking to local media, Herwin said, "This case has been transferred to the Central Jakarta Police. We have secured the health worker to become a witness and ask for further information. Meanwhile, the patient continues to undergo isolation at the Athlete's House."
"Due to conditions and health protocol rules, the nurse has been in contact with a Covid-19 patient, so is undergoing isolation for some time," Herwin added. The authorities had tested the pair for coronavirus after the confession. The patient was found to still be positive for coronavirus while the nurse had tested negative.
Officials revealed that the two could be facing criminal prosecution even though the post itself was not pornographic.
According to Tempo.co, reports from the emergency hospital staffers' revealed that the couple had sex inside a special toilet for nurses multiple times. They have both been charged for violating Article 36, Article 45 Point 1, and Article 27 Point 1 of Indonesia's Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law.
If they are convicted then the crime carries a sentence of up to 10 years each.
The Wisma Atlet emergency hospital has the total capacity to handle around 12,000 patients and had been officially inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on March 23, 2020 as part of Indonesia's efforts to fight the raging coronavirus which has gripped the world.
The government had also set up another emergency hospital in Galang Island, Riau Islands Province. The Galang Emergency Hospital has been operating officially since April 6, earlier this year.
