'Making It' Season 2 is turning out to be quite the show. The stakes are high and so is the level of competition. The third episode had the crafters create Halloween costumes and kennels for pets. Imagine? Even though the show emphasizes on crafting and DIY-ing, a lot of the challenges are such that novice crafters wouldn't dare to take them up.

The first round was all about Halloween costumes. The contestants were put into 4 teams of 2 and asked to create interesting, functional, out-of-the-box costumes for the occasion. And guess what. They lived up to it. From Llama Pinnata, robots, to sushi rolls and, jigsaw and blades - they hit it out of the park. However, Justine and Jessie's perfectly crafted delicacy left the judges - Dayna Isom Johnson and Simon Doonan - impressed and wanting a bite from it.

Host Nick Offerman even chewed on to a few of the styrofoam balls just to check if they were edible.

Up-next was the bigger challenge - creating a pet house in a limited time. Jessie's was the best as she put together an edible wall, using peanut butter as glue. She believed that would serve as a big source of entertainment for the pet. Unfortunately, Ashley's clean lines and spacious dog house that would easily fit a large breed, fell short of the spark judges were looking for. But, it was a commendable effort from someone who began woodworking only a couple of years ago.

Meanwhile, viewers cannot stop praising hosts Offerman and Amy Poehler. They are calling 'Making It' a perfect holiday treat and different from all other reality shows as it doesn't thrive on gossip, drama, and back-stabbing.

"Just love @NBCMakingIt and @Nick_Offerman and Amy Poehler are just the perfect hosts. I know most people like their reality shows with scheming and backstabbing, but I just love to good humor, camaraderie and creativity #MakingIt evokes. A fun, happy hour of TV,'' one user wrote. Another tweeted: ''I do really enjoy @NBCMakingIt! It’s so fun! As someone who is not very crafty, I am blown away by the talent and creativety of all the Makers! #MakingIt.''
