'MAFS' Season 15: Fans slam experts for 'forcing opposite to attract' with Binh and Morgan
When it comes to the matchmaking process in 'Married At First Sight', the experts are notorious for forcing the narrative that 'opposites attract'. Fans have seen it time and again with each season, where the experts believe that certain qualities might be good for certain individuals, only for it to backfire entirely. And it looks like Season 15 has no plan on being an exception to this rule.
Season 15 is starting to look a lot like Season 13 in that manner. Season 13 saw couples like Myrla and Gil and Rachel and Jose, who for what it's worth, got along for the most part. But when it came down to the fundamentals, like finances and lifestyle, they couldn't move past their differences. And now, history might be repeating itself.

As the women sat down with each other before the wedding, they spoke about what they wanted from both, the future and their man. For Morgan, whose mother was Japanese, going to Japan was certainly on the charts. She spoke about how her family came from a line of samurais and that there was even a shrine and a town named in honor of her family back in Japan. But while Morgan was planning her getaway, Binh was talking to the guys about how he didn't grow up with a lot and was hence, frugal with cash. And unfortunately, for Morgan that was a dealbreaker, as she mentioned it. Fans left as though this was doomed right from the start.
"Binh keep talking about how frugal he is and it’s really just screaming Gil 2.0 to me #MAFS" tweeted a fan. "They know finances and lifestyles play a major part! We’ve already seen it go to SHAMBLES with Myrla and Gil ! So why tf would the experts make the same mistake TWICE!! #mafs #MarriedAtFirstSight" added another. "Binh keep talking about how frugal he is and it’s really just screaming Gil 2.0 to me #MAFS" said a fan. "Morgan: “I need to go see my family shrine and travel” Binh: “girl go take a walk around the block while talking to your mom- same thing” #MAFS" joked another. "So they matched Morgan with Binh who’s a cheapskate. This poor woman. #MarriedAtFirstSight #MAFS" wrote a fan. "So the experts once again forcing opposite to attract. Got it #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" declared another.
