A witness has revealed that the suspect in Madeleine McCann's disappearance, Christian Brueckner would give underage girls drugs in exchange for sex. A Portuguese woman shared that Brueckner would attend rave parties held by teenagers where he would sell drugs. If his young women consumers were unable to pay for the drugs, he would have sex with them as payment, Daily Mail reports.

She spoke to a Portuguese TV station and said that the women were 'minors'. She added that she was unaware of the man's name at the time and only recognized his picture after the Met Police Officers issued an appeal for information and released it.

While speaking to TVi24, she shared, "He gave the girls weed and other things they wanted and in exchange, they gave him sex because they didn't have money to pay for the drugs. That was the way they did things." She also said that she recalled the pedophile from parties that used to be held on a farm in Barao de Sao Joa close to the town of Lagos where he would often work at a bar. It is believed that Brueckner was approximately 30 when he attended these parties around the same time Madeleine disappeared.

According to the witness, Brueckner spoke fluent and 'good English' but was reserved and was usually seen with another man. "I thought the other man was a brother or a friend. Both were tall and both were blonde-haired. One had blue eyes and the other had green eyes. I thought both of them were English until I found out now one of them was German. I always assumed they were English because I always heard them speaking in English," she shared.

Brueckner, 43, is currently serving out a seven-year jail term for raping an American woman, 72, in Praia da Luz, Portugal. He is housed at the Kiel Jail in northern Germany. He is now the prime suspect in Madeleine's disappearance from 13 years ago. Madeleine vanished at the age of 3 while she was on a vacation with her parents at a Portuguese resort in May 2007.  The witness claimed she knew Brueckner was the man dealing the drugs and also recognized the Volkswagen camper van that the authorities had seized last year.

"I immediately knew the new Madeleine McCann suspect was him when I saw the camper van on TV. It was the one he used. The last time I saw him was in 2007 shortly before Madeleine vanished," she recalled.

Apart from the woman's claims, the police also revealed that Brueckner was known to sell drugs to make an additional income besides working in bars. The authorities have received around 400 tips since they named Brueckner as a prime suspect in the Madeleine McCann case and the department is now assessing them and prioritizing them.

However, it seems Brueckner has not been cooperating with the authorities in this case. Madeleine's parents Kate and Gerry McCann are understandably troubled with the developments after the ray of the light that appeared in their daughter's case with Brueckner being named as a prime suspect. "If he is responsible for taking Madeleine and suddenly crumbles and confesses it could end reasonably rapidly," a source close to the German police told The Sun. "But so far he is saying absolutely nothing to officers, he is keeping schtum, so Kate and Gerry could be left in limbo for many weeks and months which is agonizing for them."
