Madeleine McCann buried 6 miles from where she disappeared: Clairvoyant
A clairvoyant has reportedly claimed that Madeleine McCann is “dead and buried” six miles from where she went missing more than ten years ago. It has now been said that police have taken Michael Schneider’s claim seriously and will look into it. Schneider told officers Madeleine “is unfortunately dead and buried in Portugal north-east of Lagos.”
The 50-year-old has reportedly provided the investigators with the exact coordinates of the place, where Madeleine’s remains can be found. The three-year-old vanished on May 3 in 2007, while holidaying with her parents, Kate and Gerry McCann; her two-year-old twin siblings; and a group of family friends and their children in a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal. Schneider, a former TV reporter, told Mirror: “I do not give out such information lightly and without constantly questioning myself because I am very well aware of the responsibility of what I do.”

Schneider has earlier helped authorities in locating the bodies of several missing people. In May, he helped cops in solving the case of a woman who disappeared in Germany. Her body was found hanging from a tree 36 hours after Schneider provided the coordinates of the spot. Besides, he also assisted in finding the location of the murdered Peter Neumair, 63, and Laura Perselli, 68, after they vanished from their home in Bolzano in Italy in January. Peter’s sister Michaela has also shown confidence over Schneider’s claim as she said, “In the case of Maddie, in my view it is worth a try – the police should take a look at the coordinates Michael has given.”
Reportedly, Schneider informed the BKA, Germany’s equivalent of the FBI, about his claims a few weeks ago. In response, they emailed him saying, “Your information will be appropriately incorporated into our work.” The psychic said, “I am happy that the BKA seem to be taking me seriously. Often you have a reputation as a freak or someone just trying to squeeze money out of someone, and this is quite hurtful. I never take money.”
He also explained how he does his calculations. Schneider stated: “I look at a photo of the missing person and ask myself upwards towards God whether this living being is alive or dead. After that I take an atlas or a road map and look at large areas superficially. Afterwards at Google Maps and Earth. Then I let my fingers and my eyes circle over these maps until they stop on a spot and mark it.”
A 44-year-old pedophile named Christian Brueckner has been identified as the prime suspect in Madeleine’s case by German prosecutors. Brueckner is currently behind bars for another rape. It has been reported that he was near the holiday apartment when the little one went missing.
Meanwhile, German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters did not comment anything on Schneider’s information, but said to the Sunday People, “Several psychics have responded to our call for help in the past year and offered assistance. In some cases, we also received concrete tips. We do not ignore them, but we are cautious.”
