'Teen Mom' star Maci Bookout says she and husband Taylor McKinney are preparing to adopt a child
Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney have been drawing rumors that they might be expecting a child soon. However, the reality star has finally put an end to this discussion after she opened up about her plans of having another child.
Maci revealed that she and Taylor still have a difference of opinion over having a biological child. In Season 8 of 'Teen Mom', Maci was seen asking Taylor to get a vasectomy done but this request left him shocked and confused. "We're still on opposite sides of the fence as far as biological children are concerned," she shared.
Despite this, she hinted that they could still expand their family and it was through adoption. "We both are still very interested in wanting to go the adoption route," Maci said. "So, for now, we agree to disagree on biological children, but we're definitely in the same boat when it comes to adoption."
While having a child has been on their mind for a long time, another thing that the pair is focused on is raising their family at the moment. While Taylor and Maci have a good understanding when it comes to raising their children, she does not seem to have the same with her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Edwards.
Ryan and Maci are parents to their son, Bentley. Ever since Maci got a restraining order against Ryan, they have been finding it hard to co-parent together. The only mode of communication for them is Mackenzie Edwards, Ryan's wife.
Since the restraining order asks for Ryan to make no contact with Maci, the couple often finds it hard to reach to an understanding when it comes to raising their son together.
In the latest season of 'Teen Mom', Ryan had hinted at how he is forced to not be there with Bentley in moments when he wished he could. Due to their legal battle, Ryan and Maci divide their time with their son but it seems like Ryan is still not happy with how things go.
While the two seem to have a lot of issues in parenting, it looks like Maci is looking forward to positivity and focusing on the future as she thinks about adopting a child.
