'Lucifer' Season 5's first part premiered on Netflix and fans who have been waiting for a year now have had time to binge on the eight episodes and even pick their favorite moments featuring their favorite characters Chloe (Laura German) and Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis). Over the eight episodes, there have been some great gems, and here's a look at some favorites that fans have shared on Twitter:

1. The moment Chloe gives in, accepts being part of the grand plan

After Amenadiel breaks down the meaning of what it means to be a blessing to Chloe, she reaches out and speaks to Lucifer. At that moment, she tells him, "You choose to be vulnerable around me. If that's true, if you choose to be vulnerable around me then I choose to be vulnerable around you." This seems to have impressed the Deckerstar shippers as many have shared how much this particular moment has been loved. Fans shared screenshots and dialogue on Twitter.

2. God works in mysterious ways

Well, that is not the dialogue exactly, but the reference to this famous phrase is hilarious. Lucifer and Amenadiel are having a conversation with the former being frustrated about the recent developments in his life and Chloe's. That's when his brother decides to say, "You know, Father works in..." but before Amenadiel could complete his sentence, Lucifer warns him. He says, "If you complete that sentence, I will punch you in your 'mysterious ways'." The fact that Amenadiel had a straight face while he said it is what made this a lot more comical.

3. "You can whack me anytime"

This is what Lucifer told Chloe when she whacked his head assuming that he was Michael. In this episode, Lucifer is desperate after Chloe is kidnapped and when he learns that it is none other than Michael who did it, he is ballistic. So when Chloe whacks him in the head, it is the least of his worries. When Chloe says, "Lucifer, I'm so sorry. I thought you were Michael." He responds, "Oh it's okay. You can whack me anytime". One fan quoted this scene and shared screenshots of the same to appreciate it.

4. "Given that Hell was supposed to freeze over"

This is the morning after Chloe and Lucifer do the deed. In the past, Chloe had told Lucifer that she would only sleep with him when hell freezes over and it is this that Lucifer refers to in Season 5. He asks Chloe if she was cold "Given that Hell was supposed to freeze over." Of course, Chloe realized what Lucifer was referring to, it is a sweet moment. So many fans have also been sharing this moment too. This one fan wrote, "NO WORDS....NONE," in reference to the scene.

Another fan also quoted this scene and wrote, "I screamed they're one of us, I repeat, Deckerstar are one of us."

5. Finally, "I Lo..."

This is more than a one-liner, it is the moment that fans have all been waiting for since the beginning of the show. So when Lucifer is about to profess his love for Chloe, time freezes. Michael had successfully managed to manipulate the fears of everyone around Lucifer and as a result, this moment ended up being incomplete and is one of the biggest reasons for fans to wait for the next part of the season with fervor.

This one fan wrote, "This will haunt me every hour of every day until we get the rest of this sentence I’m not kidding."

Of course, there is more that fans have loved about the show and watch out for them in the first eight episodes of 'Lucifer' Season 5. 'Lucifer' Season 5 Part 1 released on August 21 and can be streamed on Netflix.
