Sexuality is a spectrum and in 'Love, Victor', we will see Victor Salazar explore this spectrum with the help of his pen pal Simon. Victor has moved to Atlanta midterm with his family from Texas and is excited because he gets an opportunity to study somewhere that he can start afresh. From Texas to Atlanta, Victor hopes that the people in his new highschool Creekwood would be more open and accepting of men who are gay. For initially, Victor believes himself to be gay.

He is a boy who has been attracted to other boys and has had a crush on a man. At Creekwood High, he learns about Simon and his legendary love story that even the vice principal of the school swoons over. However, when he experiences Creekwood High's life first hand, he realizes that coming out may not be as easy as he thought and instead, he continues to hold his truth to himself. It is in a  moment of pure exasperation that Victor reaches out to Simon on social media and expresses how lucky Simon was to have friends and family who were accepting of who he really was.

Meanwhile, Simon also meets Creekwood High's most popular single girl -- Mia Brooks (Rachel Naomi Hilson) -- and turns out, the two have a lot in common. Victor finds himself interested in Mia and that is where the conflict within Victor arises. If he was gay, was it okay to feel the way he did about Mia? His feelings for her seem to have risen from the fact that the two have a rapport that was off to a great start from the beginning and only got better with days. However, this doesn't clear his confusion.

Instead, what Victor does is to continue to keep in touch with Simon, who seems to be a pen pal of sorts at the beginning. He supports Victor, helps him make sense of the confusion that he experiences at being attracted to a girl. And to add to all this, we have Benji. The Benji who stole hearts when he was featured on the trailer of the show!

Part-time barista, lead vocalist for a band and fellow student at Creekwood High, Benji is gay and everyone at school knows it. He is the boy that Victor had first crushed on hard until he met Mia and his feelings for both of them only conflicts Victor further. Will Victor be able to find out what he is searching for and if that would be Benji or Mia? This is the main plotline and Victor's family and their troubles will serve as a plot device.

All episodes of 'Love, Victor' premieres on Hulu on June 17.
