SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: From the very start of the show, Nozomi Bando faced evident struggles in the Netflix series 'Love Like a K-Drama', initially being left behind as no one picked her as a partner.

As the dynamics of the game shifted, Nozomi found a connection with Kim Dong Kyu, who, like her, faced limited options and both ended up being paired with each other.

Despite the constraints of their connection, they developed genuine feelings for each other.

Nozomi's journey ahead was filled with efforts to win Dong Kyu's affection. From rushing to be the first to gift him flowers to openly expressing her genuine feelings for him, her efforts were apparent, showcasing that she had fallen hard for him.

Unfortunately their budding connection took a short-lived turn when Dong Kyu's heart leaned towards another co-star Rio Yamashita, who despite being paired with Song Ji Hyuk, had a crush for him.

The emotional blow continued for Nozomi as she experienced being dumped by her first connection.

Heartbroken, Nozomi found herself breaking down many times on the show- accepting that her love interest and connection Dong Kyu was no longer here and all their cute moments were now just memories. This sure took a toll on her emotional state.

But Nozomi's journey in the show has been marked by resilience and determination. Refusing to let her personal struggles hinder her, she was unwavering in her pursuit of landing a role and advancing in her acting career on the show.

Despite the fallout in her love life, she vowed to excel in her career and land her dream K Drama job.

Eventually her struggles paid off when judges lauded her hardwork and even tagged her as 'best actor' from the entire lot. Nozomi came forward setting an inspiring narrative of turning setbacks into stepping stones, quite literally.

Dong Kyu, initially connected with Nozomi, experienced a transformative shift in his feelings after a date with Rio.

Despite their existing friendship, spending more time with Rio unveiled a previously unseen side of her – characterized by fun and humility.

This revelation ignited a change in Dong Kyu's emotions, leading him to develop romantic feelings for Rio.

In a sincere and open confession, Dong Kyu expressed that despite Rio being older than him, he felt a strong urge to protect her as if she were a baby.

The endearing term "my baby" became a reflection of the profound emotions he discovered and the depth of his newfound connection with Rio.

Despite witnessing the growing closeness between Dong Kyu and Rio, Nozomi made an effort to re-ignite her connection with him.

She proposed going on a date, but it became evident that Dong Kyu's interest had waned.

During their shooting, Nozomi observed a lack of romantic intimacy in their kisses, describing the encounters as awkward.

After putting in considerable effort, Nozomi came to the realization that it was in her best interest to let go of the romantic pursuit with Dong Kyu.
