'Love Island' couples who are still together even after their stint on the show ended

‘Love Island’ is the popular British reality show, hosted by Caroline Flack. This show lets the contestants display their physical strength and mental ability to complete assigned tasks as a couple. While most couples split as soon as the show ends, a few relationships are still going strong.

‘Love Island’ is the popular British reality show, hosted by Caroline Flack. The series was launched in 2015 on ITV2 network. The show revolves around a group of contestants known as islanders, who live in a remotely located villa in Mallorca, and are constantly under surveillance. The islanders must couple up in order to successfully complete various challenges that are designed to test their physical and mental abilities. Through the course of the show, the islander can choose to either remain with the partner they initially chose, or switch partners. The winning couple (who successfully complete all challenges) win £50,000 ($62,554).

The show has successfully completed four seasons amidst much drama and controversies. The fifth season of ‘Love Island’ is currently airing on the network. Let us take a look at the couples who still chose to stay together even after moving out of the villa.
 

Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde (Love Island, season 2 -2016)

Nathan and Cara not only won the grand prize of £50,000 but also won each other’s hearts. The couple got engaged in July 2018, when Nathan proposed to Cara at the place where they first met- The Love Island Villa. They then got married in June 2019 and have a son together. Cara says, "We're the first winners to get married. We're proof the show can work."

Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen (Love Island, season 2 -2016)

Olivia and Alex became the first couple to tie the knot after meeting on the show. Olivia and Alex were runners up losing out to Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey. The couple had a lavish wedding with Alex arriving on the helicopter and over 200 guests reportedly attended the wedding.

Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt (Love Island, season 3 -2017)

Camilla and Jamie instantly became fan favorites and got the cute couple nickname ‘Jamilla’. They finished as runner-up on the show. The couple moved in together in February 2019 and share two puppies. Camilla recently shared that she is in no hurry to tie the knot with Jamie.

Jessica and Dom had one of the most memorable weddings on television history when Richard Arnold officiated their wedding live on Good Morning Britain, on Valentine's Day. The couple had an official wedding later in Mykonos in the presence of their family and friends.
