'Love Is Blind' Season 6 Finale: Why did Clay Gravesande say no to Amber 'AD' Desiree at the altar? Netflix star left shattered
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: 'Love Is Blind' Season 6 star Clay Gravesande said "I don't" to Amber "AD" Desiree at the altar. As he held AD's hand, the star confessed, "I love you. I don't think it's responsible for me to say 'I do,' but I want you to know I'm rocking with you."
Clay believes he still needs to work on himself and say "I do" only when he is 100% sure about getting married. He confessed, "I know fully I'm not ready for marriage." Further addressing AD, he said, "You deserve the best. And if I'm not ready to give that 100%, I won't go there with you when I'm not ready."
AD walked out aggressively, confused about why Clay said no to her at the altar.
In one of the confessional videos later, Clay said, "Me and AD have a great relationship, but it wasn't enough where I felt as though 'This is the person I'm about to marry.'" Clay believes marriage is a "business decision" and he does not understand AD's finances.
Before walking down the aisle, Clay reflected, saying, "I looked at myself in the mirror and said, 'Am I a husband?' The answer was no. 'Am I deeply in love?' The answer was no. If you can't say yes to those answers, why are you getting married?"

AD believes Clay learned a lot about himself during the process, but she did not get anything in return. She confessed, "I feel kind of like a sacrifice like you learned so much about yourself and used me to, like, do it."
In the confessional, she further expressed that her past has been the same, where men got a lot out of her, but she received nothing in return.
AD said, "I just keep feeling like I get so close and keep doing so much for these men and carrying these relationships, and it's just not enough."
Are 'Love Is Blind' Season 6 stars Amber 'AD' Desiree and Clay Gravesande still dating?
There are no hints of Clay and AD dating on social media. Clay doesn't even follow Amber on Instagram, suggesting that they might have fallen apart after the show stopped filming.
Unlike other cast members, Clay's posts do not include any photos with AD.
Interestingly, the same is not true for AD; she posted a photo with Clay from the show on Instagram just after Valentine's Day, saying, "Black Love, ON Valentine’s Day, DURING Black History Month."
