HOUSTON, TEXAS: The burgeoning romance between Netflix's 'Love Is Blind' Season 5 stars Stacy Snyder and Izzy Zapata has come to a bittersweet end on the hit blind-dating show's finale as the couple parted ways in the face of marital commitment despite making it to the altar.
Stacy cleared the misconceptions surrounding her decision and clarified the reasons behind not marrying Izzy in a recent interview with People.
In the show, Stacy was visibly disturbed by Izzy's credit score, claiming that the latter intentionally didn't bring it up earlier given the opportunity.
She mentioned that despite her wish to build her own fairytale surrounding the marriage, she was reasonable enough to realize that most marital relationships do not work out owing to financial constraints and that she didn't have the heart to go forward with divorce proceedings in case things do not work out.
While the two still cared for each other at the altar and shared a kiss, Stacy cited differences in regard to their individual ideas of marriage as the primary reason for the split.
Apparently, the duo had separate expectations from a marital relationship and couldn't eventually reconcile the same, stating that they 'needed more time' to think things through.
Stacy further stated that prior to their big wedding day, the two had a devastating conversation about shared finances that they would have to be content with in case they decide to go through with the formalities of marrying each other.
She stated, "We were probably up all night the last night or two before the wedding after that financial conversation where we both felt like things were falling apart. So we were both a wreck."

Stacy confessed to being disappointed with the way her supposedly future husband lived in his 'messy apartment', which included a 'lost and found' drawer containing things belonging to random women.
Furthermore, Stacy didn't take too kindly to Izzy's habit of eating out of paper plates.

The Director of Operations has categorically stated that she doesn't wish to depend on a man to see her through life, and would like to be financially and emotionally independent to carry her own bearings.
She went on to say that she neither wants to be supported by a man nor support a man herself, adding that both partners should pitch in together to make a marriage work successfully.
She cleared up the 'misconception' of wanting a 'sugar daddy', citing the fact that she wasn't raised to be that way.
