Carlton Morton and Diamond Jack's relationship on 'Love Is Blind' was short-lived. Even though the couple decided to get engaged after briefly dating in the pods, their story came to a rather abrupt end and that too while they were whisked away to Cancun, Mexico in the hope that they would get a chance to explore their connection better.

Carlton had dated men in the past, which makes him a bisexual. But, he chose to keep it a secret. When he finally broke his silence and shared the news with Diamond, she was supportive of him and his decision to come out on the show. "It's just stuff that we have to just discuss because I feel like I've always been in situations where people have abandoned me and have rejected me. In the past, I have dated both genders," he told her as he cried and the two sat quietly by the pool.

However, she needed clarification as to why he chose to hide it from her. The conversation that followed was anything but fruitful. They hurled abuses and threw things and went their separate ways.

It was heartbreaking for both Carlton and Diamond because they hadn't signed up for such drama. All they had hoped for was to find someone who would love and care for them.

Diamond has moved on, as she had shared a while ago, and so has Carlton or else he wouldn't have sent out a message of love for her during a quick chat with TMZ. "I love you, unconditionally. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is everything that we were fighting for in this social experiment," he shared and added that he thought the fight wasn't over yet in his heart and that's why he didn't reach out to make things right.

It was a positive message and a welcome departure especially after how they left each other's lives. She spilled her drink on him and he threw their engagement ring into the pool and called her a "bitch." Diamond was in tears as she left the resort, Carlton was visibly upset about how things quickly went south between them.
