Shawn and Destinie's relationship got off to a fantastic start but that was just the first week after she was released from prison. They went out partying and drinking but that was the end of their happy days. Soon, they found themselves in bitter arguments over money and other things.

Destinie was already neck-deep in complaints about Shawn and had been blaming her for cutting her off when she figured that he had been talking to the woman, with whom he has six kids. Destinie was devastated and decided to leave Shawn but not before punching him in the face. But Shawn was determined to find her and did everything she could to make sure she reached the court in time for her court hearing. He knew there would be legal consequences if she missed the date and was clearly hoping that her being at the court will make their lives easy and the prison days would be behind them.

But, the couple was presented with an unexpected twist. Even though the court dismissed the charges, she was informed that the DA will be filing charges and that meant she would be going back to prison for at least seven years. "My heart just dropped," Destinie said as she cried and told Shawn not to wait for her. But Shawn isn't the one to give up. He told her that he would be there for her no matter what and shared with her family, who was there at the court to support her, that he would be proposing to her.

Meanwhile, fans thought that Destinie deserved to go back to prison.

"I find it hard to feel sorry for the Destinie. She’s has the worst attitude. #lifeafterlockup #loveafterlockup," a fan tweeted, while another commented: "Destinie has been doing real good since she's been released: 1. Keeping secrets that she likes girls and has done drugs. 2. Spending up Shawn's money. 3. Has punched Shawn with a one-two combo to the face. #loveafterlockup."

"Destinie that’s that karma for all the ish she’s done but if you can’t do the time don’t do the crime smh can’t get mad at something that you’ve done #loveafterlockup," a fan commented, while another shared: "A “bitter pill to swallow,” Destinie? Well, swallow the pill anyway, you broke the law, mocked the monitored release by cutting tracker off & mailing it back to them and then taking off bc rules aren’t made for you. Time to get the payback for that, u dirtbag. #LoveAfterLockup."
