'Love After Lockup': Lindsey yells at Scott as unfinished house resembles construction dump, fans say 'he's broke'

Scott tried to defend himself, said he kept the place as clean as he could, but Lindsey was not convinced, she thought it needed 'hardcore cleaning'

Lindsey is a free woman now and she cannot wait to get to her house that she has had so much fun planning for from behind the bars. She cut out photos from magazines and shared them with Scott to help him have a better idea of the kind of furniture and overall look she wants for their place. But she was in for a rude shock. The house was unfinished and looking like a "construction dump."

Even though Lindsey was able to keep her calm and not express her frustration at the moment, she complained incessantly while they were eating out of pizza boxes and it had just been two hours since her arrival at the house. Scott tried to defend himself, said he kept the place as clean as he could. But Lindsey was not convinced, she thought it needed "hardcore cleaning."

Also, none of the rooms are finished, and that had Lindsey worried about how she and her daughter would stay there. Scott was upset that she wouldn't stop pointing out flaws in the house and said that she could be a little more grateful. "You have a roof over your head," Scott said. Lindsey yelled that she had that in prison too. Scott was surprised that a "Southern belle" like Lindsey could be this enraged. 

Meanwhile, fans seem convinced that Scott may be broke and that's why the house is not finished yet. 

"Scott is a poser. He’s broke and refuses to admit it. #LoveAfterLockup," a fan commented, while another shared: "Is Scott a broke Sugar Daddy? What’s that called? A Sweet & Low daddy? Lindsay is like n*gga I expected greatness upon my release and you don’t have furniture here. #LoveAfterLockup."

"Lindsey, Scott is BROKE. He broke himself paying your way through jail. He has nothing left. You depleted it all. #loveafterlockup," a user tweeted. "Scott is a fool! That closet does not look anything like the photo she wanted. This man went broke putting up airs. #loveafterlockup," another expressed.

With this week's episode, 'Love After Lockup' Season 3 has gone into a mid-season break and will return in October. No updates on the return date yet.
