There is no doubt the New York Giants are under fire. They have lost all their games so far and it started with a loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They went down 16-26 and then 13-17 to the Chicago Bears, followed by another devastating 9-36 loss to the injury-ridden San Francisco 49ers. And now they take on a solid-looking Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, October 4. Coming off a loss to the Buffalo Bills, the Rams will be eager to get back to winning ways. And all eyes will be on their Running Back, Darrell Henderson.

Not many would have expected Henderson to play after the Rams found Todd Gurley's replacement in Cam Akers. The management hoped he could be their point man except he injured himself and Henderson, a third-round is making it count each time he steps on the field. In their game against the Eagles, Giantswire observed Henderson rushing 12 times for 81 yards that saw a touchdown registered as well. In addition, he had two receptions for 40 more yards.

He followed it up with another impressive performance against the Bills where he rushed for 114 yards and added a touchdown. By the end of Weel 3, his career NFL stats read — 348 Rushing yards at an average of 4.7 along with two rushing touchdowns. Add seven receptions, 83 receiving yards, and 58 return yards to the list and the Rams will be keen on giving him more chances as the season progresses. An injury-struck Henderson finished 2019 with 39 carries for 147 rushing yards and no touchdowns, four catches for 37 yards through 13 games.

This time around, it's been a different Henderson on the field as his performance has left coach Sean McVay impressed. "He made a lot of plays, he’s going to continue to make a lot of plays,” McVay said. “Very, very pleased with Darrell over the last couple weeks," he said, according to the site. QB Jared Goff described him as a quick runner. "Runs downhill, he’s super-fast, sees it well. He really fits what we do upfront and has done a great job these last two weeks. Excited about his progression."

As they take on a struggling Giants in Week 4 at the SoFi Stadium, Henderson will be keen to cement his place in the side. The Rams effective offense means the RB will have some time to showcase his skills better.
