The number one and two teams of the NL West — Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres — will take on each other in a three-game series on Monday, September 14. Both teams have been on top of their game this season. The Padres are coming off a win against the San Francisco Giants and will look to continue the same way against the Dodgers. The visitors though have a good 17-6 away record and will be unfazed by the Padres home turf advantage.

The game is scheduled for 9.10 pm ET on Monday, September 14, 2020.

Both teams will square-off at Petco Park, San Diego, CA.

Pre-game buzz

Clayton Kershaw will be the starting pitcher for the Dodgers. His standout performance reflects in his 5-1 record with a 1.98 ERA. Mookie Betts has been explosive this season with a .301 BA and has 15 dingers to his credit. The outfielder will be key for the Dodgers in their offense. Matching up to them are the Padres who have been the team this season. Dinelson Lamet will start the proceedings for the home team and shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr will be leading the offense. He comes with a .293 BA and 15 homers.

Who will win?

It will be an evenly matched contest with both teams in top form. Padres will be looking to extend their winning run while the Dodgers have been victorious in their last two outings against the side. We'll be going with the Dodgers for a series win.
