Houston Astros and Los Angeles will have a series win on their mind when they meet to slug it out at the Minute Maid Park on Monday, August 24. Both teams are coming off losses and it is harder for the Angels considering their record now reads 9-20 overall. For the Astros, their last loss against the San Diego Padres is sure to have them smarting. However, they are the favored team going into this clash. Here's a quick primer ahead of the must-win clash for both teams.

Time

The game is slated to start at 9.10 pm ET on August 24.

Venue

The Astros home turf it is as both teams lock horns at the Minute Maid Park, Houston.

Where to watch?

Fox Sports West and ATT SportsNet SW will be the networks to tune into. KLAA 830, KTMZ 1220, KBME 790 AM/ 94.5 FM, KTRH 740 AM/99.1 FM, and La Ranchera 101.7 FM are the radio frequencies to catch the live commentary of the tussle.

How to live stream?

Fans can catch the game on MLB.TV as well as the My Stream App. MLB.TV is still the most preferred app as it comes with a slashed price of $59.99 keeping in mind the shortened season. A complete subscription provides viewers with access to the full regular season, the playoffs and the World Series. Other options that viewers can look for is YouTube TV that gives access to ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, MLB Network and TBS at $64.99. Hulu and fuboTV have some similar options available.

Pre-match buzz

If anything, the Padres halted the Astros decent run. They will be counting on Framber Valdez to send down some scorchers. He's had a great game against Colorado where he managed to strike out five batters. A 1.72 ERA across five outings makes him a strong choice for the Astros. Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout will be the men to watch out for the Angels as they hope to arrest the losing slide. Patrick Sandoval will be looked at again to put the Astros sluggers in check.

Who will win?

The Astros have been the most favored side at the moment. Their better record in the league makes them a formidable team for the Angels to take on. The playoff chances for Los Angeles are quite slim and if the Astros get going, it's curtains down for the Angels.
