MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO: A friend recently stated that 'Doomsday cult mom' who is suspected of murdering her children and burying them in her husband's yard made the strange claim that the children were under the control of a parasite. Lori Vallow, 49, is facing charges for the murder of her son Joshua "JJ" Vallow, 7, and teen daughter Tylee Ryan, 16, after they vanished in September 2019.

The jury selection procedure for the murder trial started on Monday, April 3 as per The Sun. According to reports, the burned remains of Vallow's children, which were interred in a pet cemetery and wrapped in plastic bags, were discovered on June 9, 2020, on Chad Daybell's Idaho property. Daybell and Vallow were both charged with the first-degree murder of the children.

'Children were cockroaches controlled by a parasite'

Brian Entin, a news correspondent for News Nation, talks to friends of Vallow while the jury candidates are still being chosen. Entin teased Vallow's allegations earlier on Wednesday on Twitter about insects that were allegedly in charge of the minds of youngsters. "Really eye-opening conversation with a woman who was inside ‘doomsday mom’ Lori Vallow’s circle," captioned the reporter. "She explains that Lori saw her children as cockroaches controlled by a parasite. Killing the kids to them is mercy."

"How could a mom kill her children?" Entin questioned. "[A] woman who knew Lori Vallow told me tonight Lori 'believed her children were cockroaches controlled by a parasite' because that's what the cult taught her."

'Children had been possessed'

According to the East Idaho News, Vallow has been accused of belonging to a cult since March 2020. According to a court document obtained by the publication, police spoke with Vallow's niece's ex-husband, Brandon Boudreaux, who claimed that Melani Boudreaux Pawlowski, his then-wife, had disclosed ideas Vallow had about her children. Brandon claims that Vallow believed "their children had been possessed and have become zombies," according to his wife. "She shared concerns that she’s been told Brandon needed to die and that may indicate that Tylee and JJ needed to die as well," the court document read. It also described a religion that believed in teleportation and "dark and light portals," along with zombies and cockroaches.

Meanwhile, the internet reacted in shock with a user tweeting, "Next level crazy." Another user said, "Does Lori STILL think these things??" One person mentioned, "The expression on your face, B. Speaks volumes. Lolol. Basically what the rest of us think."
