Long Island 'anti-masker' threatens to beat up King Kullen supermarket worker: ‘Don't give me this communist crap’

The unidentified woman who refused to cover her face also commented on the female staff’s weight and said that is why she is a grocery store worker

LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK: A video of a woman has gone viral on social media as she insulted a supermarket worker after being told that she needed to cover her face amid coronavirus crisis. The alleged incident reportedly happened at a King Kullen supermarket in Massapequa, New York.

In the video, an unidentified woman wearing a grey shirt and black pants was seen yelling at the female employee who was not in the frame. The woman who was not wearing a face mask insisted that she had a covering on earlier and warned to beat the worker up for acting like a “communist”. She then got personal and started commenting on the store worker’s weight.

“Are you kidding me?” said the staff. “We live in America. Don't give me this communist crap,” the customer responded while shouting. “Seriously? Because I asked you to put your mask on?” the worker said who can’t be seen in the video. “My mask was on!” the woman said. “It wasn't on!” the employee replied.

“My mask was on!” the woman continued the argument. “Shut the f*** up, you fat b****. You're a fat f***. That's why you work in a supermarket. That's why you work in a supermarket, you dumb f***.” “Don't pull your communist bullshit on me. I'll fucking beat the s*** out of you right here in the f******–,” she added as the video ended.

The date of the alleged incident is not known, but it appeared on social media on Saturday night, August 8. A number of users reacted to the whole incident with one writing: “It’s amazing how these anti-maskers equate basic health mandates with communism — a political and economic system in which the govt will own the means of production and everyone will lose personal ownership of property. How does one make this leap in logic?”

“Here in Ontario it’s a different story. Masks are mandatory and you won’t be let in if you don’t have one on. If you start harassing an employee you will be removed and cops called,” said another one while third added: “If you love America, wear a mask, especially in a closed space like a grocery store.  Wash your hands and your purchases when you get home. Please be a good American and don't demean essential workers who clean up after loud-mouthed schnooks like Mrs. Long-Island.”

This comes after in July a couple in Marshall, Minnesota, was captured on camera wearing swastika face masks at a Walmart store. The video posted on Facebook by vicar Raphaela Mueller showed the old pair wearing bandana masks that bore the giant designs of swastikas on it while paying for their purchases at the cash counter.

A man who was out-of-shot confronted the couple and can be heard telling them, “You're sick. You have an illness, you can't be American and wear that mask.” And as the man spoke, the woman wearing the swastika mask raised her arms up into the air in a “ta-da!” gesture before flashing her middle fingers at the camera.

“We literally had a war about this,” the man who was not on camera was heard saying while the woman with the swastika face mask strolls over. Another man who was off-camera heard saying, “My grandfather killed Nazis.” The woman was then heard justifying her offensive act as she said she’s not a Nazi, and added “socialism is going to happen here in America” and that “If you vote for Biden, this is what we're going to have – socialism!”
