'Long Island Medium': Theresa Caputo has an unexpected visitor while buying an engagement dress for her daughter Victoria

Theresa realizes that the owners of the shop were two sisters who had lost their father and reveals that his death was unexpected

Theresa Caputo's daughter Victoria is all set for her engagement party, and no such party is complete without a perfect dress.

In this week's episode of 'Long Island Medium', Theresa and Victoria go bridal shopping but the trip takes an unexpected turn when Theresa has a visitor.

The incident takes place right after Victoria finds a dress that she loves. Theresa thought it was the perfect moment to halt the shopping and opens up about what she was feeling.

Theresa realizes that the owners of the shop were two sisters and had lost their father. Theresa remarks that she was finding it hard to breathe and felt like her chest was filled with smoke. She reveals that the death was unexpected and everyone around him didn't expect that they would be saying their goodbyes to him so soon.

The sisters, who were skeptical of Theresa's powers, seemed unsure of how to react.

However, Theresa continued to state what she was feeling and added that their dad saluted her and had "hero" written on the shirt he was wearing.

She seemed confused as to what it could symbolize and asked the sisters if their dad had saved someone.

One of the sisters says that they think he did as they had heard someone telling them that, before his death, he had helped people get out of the building.

However, Theresa wasn't sure what had happened and asked the two to elaborate on what had happened.

The sisters remarked that their father had passed away on September 11. The sisters also added that, when Theressa spoke about the smoke involved, they could imagine the terrible situation vividly.

Theresa added that their father was taking full responsibility for his departure because he was aware of the things he was doing. At the same time, he sent love to his wife in the form of giving Theresa a rose. However, she remarked that it was her symbol of "anniversary".

The sisters revealed that their mother and father had gone to the city to spend their anniversary and, while their mother stayed at the hotel, their father went to work the next day, the day when the incident took place.

They recall their mother calling their father and asking him to come back but he said that he was safer in the building than he would be when he gets out. Unfortunately, their mother had to head back home alone and it was the last time she spoke to him.

Theresa also had a message for one of the sisters who had recently given birth to her first child. Theresa remarked that their father loved how she had named the son after him and added that he had held him before he was born into the world.

The sisters are shocked and start taking Theresa seriously. They add that they didn't expect events to unfold this way but were happy to know that their father is always watching over them.

'Long Island Medium' airs on Friday at 9 pm on TLC.
