What is the plot of 'Lonely Crime Fanatic'?
True crime has become such a thing these days as people entertain their morbid fascination with all things that live in the dark side. So much so that true crime podcasts are some of the most popular streaming episodes across platforms. So what happens when a true crime fan gets a chance to meet the host of their favorite podcast? Nothing good we assure you. 'Lonely Crime Fanatic' revolves around one such fan. When a true crime superfan finally meets her podcasting idol it seems like a dream come true. But when his friendliness towards her morphs into something sinisterly obsessive she begins to wonder if the adage is right: "Never meet your heroes". Things go from bad to worse when his ensuing podcast episodes eerily seem to talk about her impending murder, and she's left foundering in a sea of fatal deceit.
'Lonely Crime Fanatic' main cast
Brenna Skalski
From professional athlete to lawyer, Brenna had a wide range of career options open to her before plumping on actor. The Olympics' loss, however, is our gain. Brenna may be a relative newcomer to the entertainment world, but her skills belie that fact. She has already starred in three shorts (the most prominent of them being 'Gates', in which she plays the titular character'). She can be seen next opposite Phoebe French and Cailin Mitchell in the upcoming thriller 'Harold'.
Doug Jeffery
An entrepreneur-turned-actor, Doug found his second calling in the steamy 1994 movie 'Sexual Malice'. Through the 1990s he used his bottomless stores of charm and sex appeal to sizzle in films like 'Indecent Behavior II', 'Scoring', 'Irresistible Impulse', 'Maui Heat' and 'Confessions of a Lap Dancer' to name just a few. Fans can see him in no less than seven upcoming projects -- most notably 'Clown and Out' opposite Alejandro Edda and 'Rock Solid' opposite Fabrice Uzan.
How do I stream 'Lonely Crime Fanatic' if I don't have cable?
Well if you don't have access to cable then your best bet is to use a live TV streaming service of which there are a gazillion ranging from the excellent but uber expensiveYouTube TV to some absolute scammy dross (so you need to be very careful). The consensus seems to be that if you're looking for a live TV streaming service -- that also allows you to record your shows -- that's reliable and cheap then it's Philo which will give you both the Lifetime Network (which also has all those curtain-twitching reality shows) and LMN.
If money is no object then you can opt for the aforementioned YouTube TV or opt for DirecTV's aptly named 'Ultimate Package' which will not only give you Lifetime but also 12.8 million other channels with absolutely nothing to watch. Needless to say, you can cut through all the tape and go directly to the source and sign up for the on-demand streaming service Lifetime Movie Club.
