Liverpool vs Everton: Reds fans confident of team bouncing back, say 'we will come out like a bunch of savages'
It has been contrasting starts for defending champions, Liverpool and Everton. While the former has been patchy and endured a staggering 2-7 loss to Aston Villa a couple of weeks ago, Everton is perched comfortably on top of the table with four wins in as many games. Come Saturday (October 17), the Merseyside Derby will kick off at the St James Goodison Park where Jurgen Klopp's men as the visitors will hope to get the better of Carlo Ancelotti's and Everton
While the Watch Dogs are not taking anything for granted and have pretty much looked at Liverpool's defeat as an aberration, they will still look to exploit Liverpool's shaky defense. However, Liverpool's ardent fans are supremely confident the three points will be in their bag as they took to social media ahead of an action-packed soccer Saturday. "After liverpool suffering such a loss last game we will come out like a bunch of savages, Mark my words everton are in trouble tomorrow. Mane, Salah, and Thiago going to run a riot," read one of the tweets.

And the predictions had already started. "Everton v Liverpool I'm going for 3-1 to Liverpool Mo Salah to score anytime What are your Final score/Anytime. Scorer Predictions?" "Everton is gonna go pointless against big teams #merseysidederby," one of the fans wrote. One of the fans shed light on the margins: "Everton-Liverpool Everton have been the better first half team this season, leading in all but 1 of their games this season. Liverpool have had issues cementing leads early and have been leading at the half on only half their games (2/2). Not that big of a margin considering"

There was some support for Anceotti's men as well. "An @Everton win today would have to be ranked as of the highlights of 2020 so far. #EVELIV #MerseysideDerby". However, Liverpool fans want this win badly. "Fair play to Everton they had a great start but time to put them back in there place come on #LFC" one of the tweets read.
Ahead of the game, Ancelotti was a confident man. "We are confident. It doesn’t matter what happened last week, they (Liverpool) are still a fantastic team with a fantastic manager. It will be a difficult game but we have confidence," he said on the club's official site. However, Liverpool is a formidable unit and Everton will have their work cut out as Klopp's men are sure to come out all guns blazing.
To end with, there's no way the Reds fans are giving up on their side. "We are Liverpool, This means more #MerseysideDerby"
